I saw a hybrid breed of trout , a mix between a brook and a brown known as a Tiger trout, apparently they are a more aggresive fish. They Have a fascinating appearance

In Japan, to my understanding Bass fishing is expensive and has strict regulations imposed.I wonder if this is because they have alot of respect for the Bass.

I can recall not too long ago an large effort to keep asian Carp out of the great lakes. I hope they don't find a way to Arizona, those fish are dangerous.

There was a couple of articles I read in the Scientific American and the New York Times I think? The story was about how they recently Realeased a large amount of water from the Glen Canyon dam in efforts to keep a fish that is classefied as endangered I think? The heavy flow of water is an idea to simulate flooding on the Colorado to create sand bars nesecary to the fish for surviavl, the riparian enviorment I beleive is what you call it.
