Fishing Canyon Lake Arizona
Canyon Lake is part of a chain of 4 lakes starting with Roosevelt Lake. It has some big fish come out of it. But it most popular for motor sports. It's a real pretty lake to look at though it has steep canyon walls surrounding the lake.
Expect a crowd if you visit this lake in the summer. If you can stand the crowd you could find some big fish. This lake has held the record for Largemouth Bass more than once.

You can get to Canyon Lake out of mesa on the Apache trail. (See the map above) or if you coming from the east near Roosevelt Lake you can take the Apache Trail all the way to the lake, and that's a fun drive.
