New Mohave AZ Fish Report

Striped bass action has slowed considerably in the Willow Beach area. Despite heavy fishing traffic anglers are reporting slow action for striped bass. On the other hand, stocked rainbow trout have provided good action for anglers tossing baits from the shoreline. PowerBait, spinners, lures and salmon eggs have been catching the fish. Further south anglers are catching striped bass from Cottonwood Cove south toward the dam. Largemouth and smallmouth bass have been taking plastics and jigs. - NDOW

Fish Report for NDOW April 10th 2012

LAKE MOHAVE –Willow Beach striper action has been good with anglers reeling in

several double-digit fish. Alan Cole, inventor of the AC Plug, hauled in a 30-pounder.

The largemouth and smallmouth bass bite has been excellent the past couple of weeks

for anglers working the Cottonwood Cove area. Tournament anglers have had no

problems catching their full bag of fish.

LAUGHLIN – According to the most recent reports anglers are still catching a few

stocked rainbow trout and even some larger fish. With temperatures climbing anglers

should see improved action for striped bass and a variety of panfish.
