Why is it that you go the San Carlos res and buy a permit for the day and it expires at midnight? That sucks. That means you have to buy one for the morning you leave to. It wouldn't be a big deal if they were less than 20 dollars a day. Is this right or do I have it backwards?

I am new to boat fishing at Lake Pleasant and have never caught a Walleye there. Just looking for any tips that anyone has that can help me.

Hoping to get some advice for fishing from a boat in the Mogollon Rim Lakes (Willow Springs, Woods Canyon). I can't catch anything between June and August! Saw these cool fishing traps for sale in Thailand. Looks like a good diy project if you have some old nets and water bottles. Basically you cut the tops off the water bottles, glue them to each side of the trap, and leave enough net at the top to close it off and reopen it when you catch some shad. [ATTACH]
