Saguaro Lake

Saguaro Lake is the lower lake on a chain of 4 from the Salt River, Roosevelt, Apache, Canyon and Saguaro are made from the Salt River. Saguaro lake has a weird assortment of fish inhabiting the lake. You can catch all the warm water fish you would at any of our desert lakes, Crappie, Largemouth Bass, Catfish, Sunfish and more. Saguaro Lake also offers Trout and Walleye fishing. It stocked with trout through out the year and believe it or not you can catch a nice size Walleye there.

From Central Phoenix: To get to Saguaro Lake from central phoenix you can take the 202 to Power Rd north all the way to the lake. Your other option to get to Saguaro is the take Hwy 87 north till you get to bush Hwy, take and right to head south for about 15 to the Lake. If you coming from northern Arizona just stay on the 87 south till you reach bush Hwy and turn left. There are not many businesses on the way to Saguaro Lake so make sure you have all the bait and tackle you need before getting on Hwy 87.
