  • Tonto Lake is located just south of Pacheta Lake in the White Mountains Indian Reservation. The lake holds Apache and Rainbow trout. The Show Low Chamber of Commerce says to get to this lake go " 33 Miles SE of Fort Apache using Y70 and Y40 or access from Pacheta Lake off Y40". The lake is slightly lower in elevation from Pacheta and Hurricane lake so if one of them are not hitting this lake might be worth checking out. Tent camping is permitted at Tonto Lake.
