This map shows the forks of the Black River in Arizona and its tributaries. When looking at the map, the areas in “green” are on the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest. The “white” areas along the Lower Black River are reservation land. The north side of the river is White Mountain Fort Apache and the south side is San Carlos Apache. If you look at the west fork and zoom in real far you can see that parts of Thompson Creek also fall on reservation land. For more fishing information on these locations view the Black River Page.
