Fishing At Granite Basin Lake Arizona

Granite Basin Lake is man-made and about 5 surface acres. It is not stocked with fish. Although fishing is usually rated as only fair to poor, the patient angler can often catch bluegill, largemouth bass, or catfish. A State of Arizona fishing license is required for anglers over the age of 13 years. Boats powered by electric motors and oars/paddles are allowed. Swimming is not permitted. - Prescott National Forest

Directions to Granite Basin Lake Arizona

Take Iron Springs Road east out of Prescott for 20 minutes till you get to Granite Basin Road then go north another 20 minutes to the Lake. All Paved access

i have fished at granite basin many times and the fishing isn't that difficult at all for bluegills and catfish but its a little difficult to catch bass there although you can occasionally catch a 3-5 pounder.
