How big are the bass in Arizona

    So I just moved to Arizona and I've been living in Florida my whole life. Just trying to think about how big to go on the tackle. From what I've read, on average in AZ you get about 1-4 lb large mouths, anything bigger than that might make the news, I'm I right? No offense, I'm looking forward to fishing AZ, you have a much divers landscape than we do and I love going to the lakes here. Just need some clarification on the tackle.

    1-4 is probably the norm. I always go with 10lb line in case I get a big one. I don't think you need to downsize your tackle much though. You don't want a bunch of super small stuff tacking your bait anyway.
