The Bill Williams River moves from northern Arizona westward to the Colorado River. Along the way it create Alamo Lakewhich is one the best bass fishing and crappie fishing lakes in Arizona.
There are many reports of great fishing in the wildlife refuge near the Colorado River, but little reported about fishing between the Colorado and Alamo and above Alamo. There may be some great little fishing holes out along the way.
You will find a mix of different types of fish along this river. You will see the standard warm water species in Alamo and above. As you get closer to the Colorado river you can pick up some salt water imports like striped bass.
