  • Fain lake is a small lake near Prescott Valley. It's regularly stocked with trout. Rainbow trout seems to be the most common and occasional brown trout and largemouth bass.
  • From I-17, travel west on SR 69 toward Prescott Valley, turn left on Glassford Hills road. Turn right on 2nd Street and go past ADOT yard. Follow Fain Park signs to lake.

    Park is open and fish were stocked February 13th and are tentatively scheduled for the week of March 6th. Reports are that the fish are biting but bring a variety of bait.

    was stocked Monday, Dec. 19 with rainbow trout. Use the normal trout baits and if they aren’t working try small spinners. Watson Lake and Lynx Lake has slowed according to reports.

    There was a guy there May 2013 who pulled in a Bass and swore there was another.

    That I when there today and I caught a lot of fish and it was very good the go for power bait and worms go with small hooks and we also put a built weight and it work just if you have power bait the get the floating ones

    I know that there are no largemouths or flatheads but there are a lot of small trout and a couple of channel catfish.The fishing has been a little slow lately though.
