  • March 3rd, TTL is currently closed because it's being filled like crazy from the Salt River. Should go back to normal soon, but as of now there is a ton of debris in the lake, it's brown, and all fishing/boating activities are shut done. So yeah, you can't fish there now.

Tempe Town Lake is Part of the Salt River that flows into Tempe created by a dam, open from 5:00 to 10:00 pm for boats and open till 12 for shore fishing.

  1. HookedAZ
Tempe town lake currently running over the dam. SRP released the water from upstream – the upper Salt River and Verde River – allowing it to flow through Tempe Town Lake and into the normally dry river channel.

Tempe Town Lake is not an Urban Lake, therefore a State License is required to fish there.
