Topock Marsh on the Havasu National Wildlife Refuge will be closed Feb. 20 thru March 6 due to U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service management action.

After March 6, try chicken livers or worms for catfish. You can access the marsh by boat at the North Dike, Catfish Paradise, and Five-Mile Landing. The cold weather has slowed the bite and access to the marsh is difficult due to low water levels. For more information on the marsh, contact the Havasu National Wildlife Refuge at (760) 326-3853 or go to http://www.fws.gov/southwest/refuges/arizona/havasu/index.html.
