  • Willow Lake is just across the road from Watson lake. Willow Lake is full when its raining and dry when its not. The lake is in a big grass land and partly in the Granite Dells Mountains. Willow Lake has the same types of fish as Watson; largemouth, sunfish, bluegill and channel cats. When the lake is full it can reach upwards of 500 surface acres. The lake is also popular for boating small wind or human powered boats. Watson Lake usually has plenty of water to fish so have it as a backup.

Largemouth bass are the predominant species. Shore fishing is difficult due to the aquatic vegetation although the cold temperatures have helped cleared some of that mess. Try top water baits so you can eliminate some of the snagging. If you are in a boat or float tube you can always retrieve your baits without too much difficulty. Try drop shots from shore also.

What are the boating restrictions on Willow Lake (e.g., gas engine, hp, speed limit, wake, etc.)?

    Thanks
